I'm guessing since there aren't any posts here yet, it's because people are like me and just don't have any idea what their favorite Michelle song is. I love all of them. I guess I am a little partial to "Harlan" and "I Know Rain"... plus Michelle can do a "Rocky Top" like nobody else!!! GO VOLS!! |

The Writing's On The Wall, I Miss Who I Was With You, What More Should I Say, and Heart Of Stone. They're are good! "What more should I say?" |

Reply with quote | #6 | Anything Michelle sings rests easy on these old ears, BUT if I had to name a couple it would be EAST VIRGINIA BLUES or the very first song I heard her sing SHENANDOAH. ed |

Reply with quote | #8 | I was driving through the mountains of TN after visiting my father (who recently passed), and heard this amazing song called Harlan. It just stuck - couldn't get it out of my head and still can't to this day. I never cared for Bluegrass before, but I searched the internet for Harlan, bought the album, and have been a fan of Michelle Nixon and Drive since then. I'm retired now, just returned from a year-long sailing adventure and would like to see them in person. Looks like there is only one more opportunity.... getting the cycle ready and going down to Virginia! |
